Stigler opened their 1924 season with 390 points in their first three games. Five Stigler starters played in all 3 games. Quarterback Harvey Pogue, fullback Joe Fuqua, end George Wadley, tackle Jennings McDaniel and halfback-end Leo Grace. Stigler finished the 1924 season 10-0 and scored 577 points.
In the Fort Gibson game, Stigler scored 33 touchdowns and had 21 conversions. Fort Gibson kicked off 13 times during the game and those kickoffs traveled a total of 472 yards. Quarterback Harvey Pogue, rushed for 479 yards in the game and that was the Oklahoma High School Football 11-man record until 2017 when Peyton Scott from Sand Springs broke it with 507 yards vs Bartlesville.
