Winning Streaks in Oklahoma High School Sports

Updated: Mar 15, 2023

Here are the longest winning streaks in Oklahoma High School Sports history along with the current longest streak in their respective sports.

Baseball (Spring)

66 - Capitol Hill (1953-54)

· Current streak : 14 - Blanchard (4A) (as of 3/14/2023)

Baseball (Fall & Spring)

84 - Cameron (1988-90)

Basketball (Boys)

67 - Byng (1957-59)

· Current : 39 – Dale (2A) (as of 3/14/2023)

Basketball (Girls)

96 - Byng (1936-38)

· Current : 36 – Edmond North (6A) (as of 3/14/2023)

Football (11-man)

58 - Bixby (2018-2022)

· Current : 15 – Washington (2A), Fairview (A) (as of 12/15/2022)

Football (8-man team/all games)

93 - Shattuck (2003-09)

· Current : 14 – Tipton (C)

Football (8-man team/8-man games only)

103 - Morrison (1988-95)

Note : Morrison won 90 games in a row from 1989 to 1995. That 90 game streak was started after a 20-6 loss to Crescent in Game #3 of the 1989 season. Crescent was an 11-man team and Morrison played 11-man that Friday night. The week before, Morrison played Garber who was an 11-man team and beat them 20-0. This also happened in 1988. So the 8-man streak of 103 games started Game #1 of the 1988 season after Morrison lost in the 1987 State Finals to Welch 27-16.

I would have to dig a little bit to find that but, as of today, Edmond North at 44 looks pretty good!
